I know that your blog is more focused on African American sayings, but it would be very interesting to see what us black people in the Caribbean say because it varies from island to island. There might be some overlap. Some popular Caribbean ones are "wheel bend, story end", "he/she/they wanna wrong and strong" or "who don't hear, feel".
I wanted to do a diaspora week. The submissions I did get are still in my drafts but I truly dont have enough for a real week yet. So, in time my friend. There is definitely some overlap tho.
